Vet Expert Stimuderm Ultra Serum has been created for animals suffering from excessive hair loss from a variety of causes. It’s suitable for animals with allergies, parasitic problems such as mange, atopic dermatitis (common in dogs), bacterial and fungal infections, hormonal imbalances or nutritional deficiencies. While this product has been developed for use in dogs, it can also be useful in other species such as alpacas and llamas!
What’s in Stimuderm Ultra Serum?
Vet Expert Stimuderm Ultra Serum contains the following ingredients to help with hair regrowth.
Active NTM™ Molecule: A substance of vitamin origin with a research-proven stimulating effect on hair regrowth.
- An active ingredient with proven effectiveness in stimulating hair regrowth.
- A molecule of vitamin origin, an active metabolite of vitamin B3.
- Induces the anagen phase (intensive hair growth) and extends its duration.
- Has a protective effect on the hair follicle, reducing the degree of its dystrophy.
- Accelerates hair regrowth, improves microcirculation of the skin, and stimulates faster regeneration of hair follicles, promoting the transition into the anagen phase.
Panthenol And Glycerine: Highly moisturizing, with soothing and irritation-relieving effects. These ingredients reduce redness, promote skin regeneration, and accelerate healing.
Hydrolysed Silk Proteins: Form a protective film on the surface of the skin and hair, moisturise, and give a beautiful shine to the hair.
Instructions for Use
Please note that when using this product on alpacas or llamas to stimulate hair regrowth, it’s vital that you first correct the underlying problem. In many cases, this will be mange. If you don’t resolve any underlying mange first, this product will not be effective. So have your vet evaluate the case first and treat the mange specifically with topical treatment where necessary.
Medicated shampoos will help to lift crust and scale and address the underlying hypersensitivity in the skin. You can use Vet Expert Benzoic Shampoo or Vet Expert Stimuderm Ultra Shampoo for this purpose. If mange is a concern, you’ll need to use a topical mite-killing product that you’ll need to source from your vet on prescription. Once you’ve address the underlying issue, you can use Stimuderm Serum to help get the hair to regrow. For chorioptic mange cases, I suggest going through the mange treatment phase with a shampoo such as Benzoic Shampoo, Sebomild or Sebolytic, and topical mite-killing treatments for a few weeks, plus something like Ozone Ointment in between treatments to help soften the skin, before trying the Serum with either Stimuderm Ultra Shampoo or any remaining Benzoic Shampoo. Instructions for dogs suggest that Stimuderm Ultra Serum should be used daily for the first 2 weeks, then every other day, and then twice weekly. If this is not practical, then try to use it as frequently as possible. Spray evenly onto the skin in the areas affected by hair loss.
