Faecal Bundle – Pre-paid pricing for faecal testing

Purchase a pre=paid faecal bundle to get amazing savings on the cost of faecal testing!

With a faecal bundle, you pay up front and then can send any number of samples any time you wish and benefit from our best pricing available. For example, if you just want to run a quick sample for an individual animal, normally this would cost £30 +VAT for us to process and report on your sample. However, if you have a pre-paid faecal bundle of 50 samples, you will pay just £18 +VAT. This means that you save £12 on the cost of having that sample processed, or a whopping 40%!

Use your faecal bundle when you want to do your herd screening and then for follow-up faecal testing and just random checks in between, but pay the same great rate, however many samples you want to send…

Example Use 1:

You have a herd of 25 alpacas. You would normally send 10 samples for testing at screening time (as you should send a minimum of 10 for a herd of this size). Let’s say you send 2 lots for routine testing over the course of the year and also send 3 samples for retesting after one of these routine screenings revealed parasite burdens that you need to check after dosing, and you send another couple of samples individually over the course of the year.

Normal pricing would be the following (pay after testing):

• Routine screening of 10 alpacas: £25 each x10 = £250
• Routine screening of 10 alpacas: £25 each x10 = £250
• Retesting of 3 samples: £28 each x3 = £84
• Two individual sample tests: £30 each = £60
• TOTAL = £644 +VAT

If you pre-paid for a faecal bundle of 25 samples, you would pay just £500 +VAT, giving you savings of £144 or just over 22%!

Example Use 2:

You have a herd of 50 alpacas. You plan to send two lots of 15 samples, but then get a bit worried in August because there’s been lots of rain and you’re worried about Haemonchus in the herd so want to send in another batch of samples and choose to send a selection of 8 samples. Then you need to send in some retest samples after both herd tests due to some problems found, and you decided to submit some cria samples at weaning time to see if there are any coccidia concerns before you wean.

Normal pricing would be the following (pay after testing):

• Routine screening of 15 alpacas: £22 each x15 = £330
• Routine screening of 15 alpacas: £22 each x15 = £330
• Cria testing of 8 crias: £25 each x8 = £200
• Retesting of 5 samples twice: £25 each x10 = £250
• Two individual sample tests: £30 each = £60
• TOTAL = £1170 +VAT

If you pre-paid for a faecal bundle of 50 samples, you would pay just £900 +VAT (at £18 per sample), giving you savings of £270 of just over 23%!
