Sterile Latex Powder Free Medical Gloves. This product contains natural rubber latex. In some people, latex can cause allergic reactions, including anaphylactic responses.

These gloves are useful for a variety of tasks that require sterility. This includes manipulation of a cria during a difficult birthing. The rubber of these gloves allows for better tactility than using sterile sleeves alone which are plastic. The cuffs extend 3-4 inches up the forearm and this extends the “sterile zone” beyond that of ordinary latex gloves. The cuffs provide a more snug fit around the wrist than ordinary unsterile gloves – they won’t fill up with fluid and come off inside the uterus! If you want to extend the sterile zone further up your arm, place a sterile sleeve on your arm having first cut the fingers off and place a sterile glove over the top.
