Be prepared for those annoying injuries that appear occasionally at shearing time with the OW-Paca Shearing Injury Kit! Contains all you need to clean the wound as well as skin glue to bond the wound edges together if the wound is less than 6 hours old and nice and fresh/clean, or Vetericyn® Hydrogel for older wounds. For any bad wounds including deep or particularly large wounds, please call your vet as further debridement and suturing may be required.

The tissue glue is a 2ml multi-use bottle, specifically for wounds so won’t burn the skin like ordinary super glue. All individual kit components for the Ow-Paca Shearing Injury Kit can be re-ordered.

Vetericyn Hydrogel® cleans, treats and protects wounds against infection in one step, replacing the need for several first-aid products. It can be used for most wounds, abrasions, cuts, fungal infections and burns as well as topical infections. Vetericyn® offers a treatment option that works in tandem with an animal’s immune system to fight infection and speed healing time. It is the first non-toxic broad-spectrum topical antimicrobial on the market. The landscape-altering wound and infection control technology kills bacteria (including staph and drug-resistant MRSA), viruses, fungi and spores without harming healthy tissue. Neutrophils, the most common white blood cells in the body, fight infection and kill pathogens by releasing an oxidative burst. Vetericyn® replicates these same oxychlorine compounds.
